CATIE receives recognition from the San Buenaventura Turrialba Home for the Elderly

• The Board of Directors and the Administration of the institution highlight the valuable collaboration of CATIE for the benefit of the elderly population.

November 24, 2023. The San Buenaventura Turrialba Home for the Elderly expressed its sincere gratitude to CATIE (Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center) for its continued support to the institution's mission for the benefit of the elderly population.

The board of directors, the administration and the elderly people of the Home for the Elderly expressed their emotional gratitude for the collaboration provided by CATIE. In the words of the administrative coordinator of the Home for the Elderly, Jendry Solís: "the General Director and all the staff of the Center have always shown great willingness to help us whenever we have needed it. We have received donations of technological equipment and we have participated in the CATIE International Fair, which has helped us enormously. CATIE's help and commitment have been invaluable to us".

CATIE, through its commitment to the community and its spirit of collaboration, has contributed significantly to the well-being of the residents of Home.

In that sense, the gratitude offered to Muhammad Ibrahim, general director of the Center, indicates: "we express our thanks for your identification with the San Buenaventura Turrialba Home for the Elderly, thanks to people like you, with your spirit of collaboration and love for the elderly population, this worthy institution has been benefited to fulfill its mission. Ibrahim expressed that this gesture of appreciation reflects the importance of collaboration and mutual commitment in building a more caring and compassionate society.
