Costa Rica to Host the Most Important Event in Sustainable Agribusiness in Latin America and the Caribbean
- AGROMIRA 2025, organized by CATIE, will offer entrepreneurs, producers, and key players in the agricultural sector the opportunity to learn about innovative and sustainable practices for their businesses.
From May 6 to 8, 2025, CATIE (Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center) in Turrialba, Costa Rica, will host AGROMIRA 2025, the most significant international event in sustainable agribusiness in Latin America and the Caribbean. This event will provide entrepreneurs, producers, and innovators in the agricultural sector with the opportunity to learn about innovative practices to make their businesses more sustainable and profitable.
According to FAO, one-third of food intended for human consumption is lost or wasted every year, totaling approximately 1.3 billion tons. AGROMIRA 2025 aims to provide solutions to this global challenge by promoting more efficient and resilient agri-food systems in the region.
